He has become a man with a soft heart back in reality, who has realized the true meaning of life and love. So he decides to celebrate a Christmas party together with his nephew. That’s how his new life begins.

The figure of the main character is very realistic written. From the first pages, you not only despise Scrooge. In some moments you can feel sympathy for him. Actually, he is not completely bad. Honestly, he is a more tragic and sad figure. And the magical fantasy worlds which he encounters explain that a lot.

Charles Dickens has obviously written more complex texts (the Oliver Twist or David Copperfield for example). But no matter of that A Christmas Carol in Prose has its own charm.
