THE SELLOUT by PAUL BEATTY

Magnificent winner of the last year National Book Critics Circle Award in Fiction.
A biting satire about a young man's isolated upbringing and the race trial that sends him to the Supreme Court, Paul Beatty's The Sellout showcases a comic genius at the top of his talent.

This book challenges the big city living style, the civil rights movement, the relationship between elders and younglings, the base rules of the USA Constitution. And in the central of all, you can find the black Chinese restaurant. It is a symbol of racial equality.

So, it is not surprising at all that The Sellout was named in 2015 the one of the best books by critics.

Main character ofThe Sellout was born in Russia near Los Angeles. He is typical lower-middle-class American. He will day in the same bed he'd grown up in. And he will be looking up at the same cracks in the house ceiling that have been there since 1968 earthquake.

But one day our hero try to do the most outrageous thing man could even think. He tries to reinstating slavery and segregating the local high school.

The Sellout written by Paul Beatty's is amazing, provoking and simply brilliant. It is not only one of the funniest novels in years, it is a satiric masterpiece, maybe the 1st great humorous novel of the 21 century.
