Mary Clemmer

Mary C. Ames was a 19th-century American journalist, author, and poet. She wrote poetry and prose, including novels. Her complete works were published at Boston. She gained newspaper experience with the Springfield, Massachusetts Republican, the New York Press, and the Brooklyn Daily Union
