Cristopher fears the touches of other persons, don't trust a stranger.

Christopher does not understand jokes, lies, unpredictable behavior of people. He can't realize when they get angry at him. But what he certainly understands and that he likes, it's math, logic, accuracy, clarity and accuracy in life.
And almost surprisingly, he is kind and humane despite the dreadful disease that he has - an autism. Christopher is strange, but certainly not stupid.

At the beginning of his investigation, Christopher does not know that it will change his life forever. It leads to the terrible discovery for the young boy. His world will be collapsed along with his system of values. It is difficult for anyone, and especially it is difficult for the 15-year-old boy with mental disabilities.

Mark Haddon is an English writer, illustrator, and writer, author of a dozen children's books. " The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" is his first novel for adults. The English title of the novel is a reference to the story of Arthur Conan Doyle's "Silver", in which Sherlock Holmes solves a murder, drawing attention to the strange behavior of the dog on the night of the crime.
